Character Sculpt - Marvin the Martian

This was my first ever try at sculpting anything and was an exercise in using three different sculpting materials, milliput, sculpy and plastiline.  We were marked on accuracy, finish and consistency.

Slinkachu

This photograph is an image from a series entitled "Little people project" in which the artist Slinkachu places small figures in street scenes in an attempt to make those who live in big cities more aware of their surroundings.  I love the element of humour that he has used in his work.

Cardboard Cassette Tape

This was my first project in my first year on the Modelmaking course at AUCB. We had 2 weeks to make a scaled version of our objects aiming to keep it as clean and as accurate as possible.

Sony Bravia ad

This advert is from 2007 and is pretty well known but I absolutely love the production of it and this video, although quite long, helps to explain how it's done. Really makes you think about how much work goes into things. Awesome.

My first Blog and first post...

I have set up this blog as a way for me to research and learn about different artists, model makers, sculptors and anything else in the creative industry that interests me. Its also a space for me to show my work to friends, family and anyone else who is interested.
